Learn Together Earn Together Design Research Liberia
International Rescue Committee
LCC designed and executed a design research program in Monrovia, Liberia for the International Rescue Committee that generated concepts for technology tools that support couples in better financial management. We created a series of activities that utilized audio stories, illustrated cards, journey mapping and SMS that served to gather insights into what type of technology tools might support both better financial management and a decrease in levels of domestic violence. The results included key insights, personas, and initial concepts for new tools.
Pay EQ Equal Pay Reporting & Compliance Tool
Syndio Solutions
We designed a robust onboarding experience for Syndio's Pay EQ tool that supports organizations efforts to become and stay compliant with equal pay laws. PayEQ allows organizations to quickly analyze and resolve pay equity issues toward avoiding litigation and better attracting and retaining employees. The new onboarding experience supports the upload and organization of complex data sets, as well as the configuration of specific parameters that more simply and transparently support organizations' efforts to maintain equal pay.
Private Patents & Public Health Educational Website
Health Action International
Little Cloud worked with Health Action International to create the Access to Medicines website, a narrative website that integrates clear language, strong evidence and visually appealing graphics to provide both those who are new to the field and experienced advocates with the type of information they need to understand and act on key issues. The content is written by medicines policy expert and lawyer, Ellen ‘t Hoen, and is based on the resource book, Private Patents and Public Health: Changing intellectual property rules for access to medicines. The project was supported by Open Society Foundations.
Human-Centered Design Workshop in Uganda

In partnership with Hive Colab and Women in Technology Uganda.
Engage After Emergencies Kit Concepts & Design
UNICEF Innovation
We created high-level vision, innovative concepts, and strategy as part of UNICEF's Engage After Emergencies kit development. UNICEF creates physical kits for children that are distributed in the aftermath of disasters. Engage After Emergencies focused on adolescents and sought to needs of older children who are active, adult participants in many cultures. We provided concepts and methodology that spanned technological and non-technological solutions.
Open Health Networks Platform Design
CEGSS Guatemala
LCC designed and developed a platform that allows rural Guatemalan community members to send coded text messages which report the lack of medication, equipment and other concerns. The platform seeks to increase knowledge of public health rights and to open up the communication channels between indigenous communities, CEGSS and the government. OHN was developed for CEGSS in Guatemala City as part of a studio class and student fellowships at Parsons School of Design, and in partnership with Open Society Foundations.
